TiGERS have 2 difficult but winnable games in GT & SC..

Amd IF they continue their super D play and the O can produce more first downs without critical turnovers..they win imo.
I say Clemson has a 60-75% chance to win both games.
What say You?

That would be a 97.5% chance to win each game

which i doubt is very close to being realistic. Even a 90% chance to win each game would put us at 81% to win both, and that's probably a bit generous.

One thing about SC..

Aside from the Texas A&M game to open the season, they've been in a position to win every other game they have played, including the one at Auburn. I'm not saying they are a great team or anything, but I wouldn't be so quick to write them off.

In fact they have been playing against some of the worst defenses in college football

They make first time starting QB's look like heisman trophy candidates. We can blow the coots out with Stoudt. It's over for your coots bill

I think if Watson is healthy, we beat GT easily and beat SC close. Without Watson, we could lose both. The D will give us a chance to win both, either way.

Watson will annihilate the coots defense. Coots haven't played a good defense all year. Even with Stoudt, the coots defense is so terrible we would still score a ton of points

our defense is good, but we're not beating them putting up 16-20 points.........something that stoudt struggles to do against air.
so hopefully deshaun is ready to go...........vs both GT and USC

I think that most of the posters on this board could play QB against SC and the Tigers would put up at least 20 points.

With Watson Healthy and playing well we have a chance to win both. Nothing more. Remeber GT is on the road and they are playing good and they have always been a thorn in Clemson side. SC is not a given by any means. Our advantage in this game is it is being played in DV. Offensive production will decide both these games. Realistically I thing 28 or more points are required to win either of these games. Don't put these in the win column before they are played.

Historically, since Danny has left, GT has been a thorn in our side, especially in the ATL. I just don't see that this year though, especially with a healthy Watson which will equal a healthy efficient O. Our D is now built to stop teams like the Techies. We have the best D-Line in the country/really good LB's/above average secondary. Outside of a missed assignment here and there - I see Venables and our D stonewalling the Jackets. Not concerned this year - the losing streak in ATL has NOTHING to do with THIS team....

Daughter there (and Son to Clemson & UGa Law) so always interested in SC from that perspective..nothing more I assure you!
And, they brag with mouth & fist that we lost 5 STRAIGHT (not 5 here & there!)..so I'm aware of what beating them means...maybe a little more than oUr young ones on TNet do.
GoTiGERS..please git er done in DV Men!
