Re-watching some recent games

Aug 26, 2018, 12:43 PM

And it's amazes me how many times Kearse got beat. I understand Clemson was still a great team during his tenure, and defenses always ranked high, but he was the culprit in many of those big plays that were given up (due to blown coverage). Great kid and all, but I wish we could've seen his full potential.

I know his performance in the Bama game gets brought up, but I was just watching the Ohio State Orange Bowl, and he blew 3 assignments just in the first half. One was an easy TD to the TE that was dropped, 2nd time same play and the TE caught if for a TD. 3rd play, end of the 1st half, OSU WR caught a pass near the goal line to set up a late TD (if thrown better it would have been a TD also).

Sorry to beat this dead horse

He had some amazing plays and played great just as much as he played poorly. He deserves respect

Respect is earned...responsibility for position remains...he owns his great plays as well as his terrible ones
