If there was one area of concern, it was possibly that venables was stealing our signals from the sidelines. It almost seemed as though the defense always knew the play that was coming next. We may want to clean this up before the season starts.

Against each other, I would hope the defense knew what was coming next. Not hard to predict a vanilla offense you've seen for 14 straight practices....

Those in the know realize he is just a pretty face to put on tv. Besides building one of if not the best defenses in the country and perennially rebuilding our defense into a national powerhouse what has he really done?

No because this was a practice more for the fans than for the team although it was good for the players to gain playing experience in front of a large crowd.

Why would we open up the play book at the Orange and White Game for the opposition to see?
