In his interview today, Chip Patterson says the game will be MUCH closer than the spread, and that Pitt will make it so by using their ground game against our defense.
Not sure what this guy is smoking. Nobody has had success on the ground against Clemson this year...NOBODY. We are ranked 2nd in the nation in rushing defense, giving up less than 90 yards per game and less than 3 yards per play this season.
If Pitt can’t throw the ball, then that 3+ TD Vegas line will be just the beginning, because they sure as #### won’t be able to run it. BV will make sure of that.

They may throw for 1,000 yards and win the game. But they will NOT run the ball on us. The point of my post was to emphasize that Chip Patterson said the GROUND GAME is how they would beat us Saturday night, and that’s documented evidence that he has paid no attention to our defense at all this year.

I agree. 1 point victory is enough for me!
I think in 16 when we won it all. Every game seemed to be a nail biter, always closer than what we liked. We found ways to win and won it all. I say just find way to win!!
