The coaches should learn alot from this game

Nov 13, 2016, 1:26 PM

We seem to repeat the same mistakes late in games. Great coaches and players learn from mistakes. Time will tell but talent doesn't always translate to wins. We know our OC's are not really experienced but have done a good job so far.

Coaches can't learn if they don't see themselves as problem

Nov 13, 2016, 1:49 PM

The coaches need to stop blaming karma, the supermoon, and everything else under the sun when their lack of ability and understanding of the situation ( risk/reward ) IS THE PROBLEM. I feel bad for the players because they are not the supposedly mature ones making big $$$ to lead and make good decisions--they have to do what the coaches say. Tony and Dabo lost this game by deciding to pass from the 3 yard line when all they needed to do was RUN IT!

Since running the ball was working so good for us?

All running the ball would done

Nov 13, 2016, 2:09 PM [ in reply to Coaches can't learn if they don't see themselves as problem ]

in that situation would have been securing a FG try. Which,in hindsight would have been a good thing. Trying to run the ball on 3rd and 4th down and one on a team that had stacked the box and STOPPED the run all game long might have been the wrong call. Learning to do what you've been doing all game long in crunch time is the lesson that this staff should learn.

That said, it's over with, most of those still whining can't see the forest for the trees. The only thing off the table for this team right now is being the 15-0 National Champ. Never been one of those,14-1 is what the best record in the playoff era has been for the eventual Champ.

Division
State
ACC Champ
Playoff
NC

ALL still on the table.First course of action is on to WF,
