Don't understand Clemson got Georgia beat in every position. Georgia have a slight edge on Clemson in the running back position because of gurley and marshall but every thing else is Clemson.

their QB has more quality PT than Cole.... especially playing in Sanford Stadium.

Cole, as a freshman, played a better game than their QB was able to last year. I don't think the quality PT will help give him an edge.
Sanford is an edge they have though. Its a hostile environment, especially now that they can flash lights and play loud music!!

It's simply true that Mason has more PT at times when it mattered than Stoudt does. It's also true that Mason hasn't been very good during those times. Nevertheless, you would expect that Stoudt's lack of experience will be a bigger deal when playing at Sanford than Mason's will be when playing at home. Even if you think Stoudt and Mason are about even in terms of talent and experience, Mason's in a better situation "especially at Sanford."

Maybe, maybe not. That's what's great about college.

You NEVER know what's between the ears of these kids. MAYBE Sanford is a big advantage for Mason. Or MAYBE he needed double overtime to beat GT, blew it against Nebraska and knows that he's up against a monster D and could lose the season in game one all by himself and the stress gets to him.
MAYBE the noise gets to Stoudt. Or maybe he's still as cool as he's ever been and does what he's done all along...executes. Most people expect Georgia to win. The pressures on the kid who blew the bowl game last year and is playing at home, not the new kid at Clemson who is playing in a hostile environment.
You just never know with college.

The Georgia Bulldogs do not have an advantage at any position. They have 3 RB and only 2 are proven. Clemson has a huge committee of RB that can run over folks. Last I heard, DJ Reader is practicing drills running the ball. He has 330lbs on his frame and runs a 4.6 in the 40... That tells me that if he takes snaps in the back field then someone is in deep trouble.

Does not run a 4.6!!!! While I love the way he plays, he cannot come close to a legitimate 4.6.

Chesty, get real. Clemson has 9 running backs on the roster and none of them has proven anything. Every team in the ACC has 9 running backs on it's roster. Why does this forum post such silly comments? Does someone feel inferior? Outsiders are reading these posts and laughing their butts off.

UGa has advantages at RB and WR. WR is close, as Clemson has better talent at WR, but UGa has more proven talent. I do think that the gap between Clemson's WRs and UGa's DBs is larger than the gap between UGa's WRs and Clemson's DBs. But that advantage might be wiped out by Stoudt's inexperience on the road.
It's just ridiculous to say that UGa doesn't have a couple of better units than Clemson.

C'mon man, the advantage at running back is more than just "slight". They've easily got the best 1-2 punch in the nation and we aren't even sure who's going to start.
Georgia is a very talented team who we shouldn't take lightly.
