is that if we were going to lose a conference game, the Syracuse game was the one to lose. If we'd lost to FSU, that also wouldn't have mattered if we'd otherwise won out, but imagine losing to NC State. At that point, I'm pretty sure they'd be zero chance we'd be able to recover and make it to the ACC championship game. I'm just going to hope that Syracuse reverts to the mean here in their next few games.

It does not matter if Syracuse wins out and we win out as long as Nc state doesn't lose after we beat them. There would be a 3 way tie and we would be the highest ranked team and each one of us would be 7-1 in ACC with the lone loss in the Atlantic. we take care of business and we are in ACC Championship game.
