Control it is going from a couple of our 85 to over 5 and seems to be accelerating. With the limits each ship is like gold these days, I feel someone from the board needs to get a handle on this. I and others don't give to iptay and attend games to fund favors.

Sounds like this kid is the real deal. ****

Sort of hard to question the recruiting of this staff.

I think you should instead contact Coach V and let him know what you think he and his staff is doing wrong.

Nope a letter to the board is more appropriate

who didnt know the idiots would be out with this news. if it had been reported that we got a commit from this guy and no one had mentioned his dad played here then i bet this goober would be cheering from the mountain top. here is an idea for you morons. go do some searching on all the legacies that we have not offered. you may be surprised.

LOL! Who on the "board" should tell Dabo how he should run

his program. Doubt you would like their answer.

Eh, this isn't a bad legacy take. The kid's got some legitimate upside, probably at the linebacker position.

The elusive dumper rears it's ugly head.

Yes . It has really sent our football program into a downward spiral . We must start a petition .

Sorry you feel that way. I'd take 80 of these kids that want to be here over a 5* that wants to see other people or a 4* that decides he doesn't like football after the year.

Hope you enjoy losing then

I enjoy winning as much as the next guy. But I like to keep things in perspective. Seeing young kids get a lifetime opportunity should never be viewed as as negative.

Just my humble opinion here but you will sound nothing but foolish questioning a coaching staff who currently has us mentioned as legitimate contenders to make the playoff. If we start trending down then please question away. Until then be happy that we are recruiting so well.

You mean like my earlier post commenting that the kid has good upside and will likely be a contributor at linebacker in the future?
I've thought some takes were questionable but there's a reason Dabo is a coach and I'm not. This isn't even a take I have an issue with at all - if we want to focus on legacy players, this is exactly the type of guy we should be getting.

That's what's wrong with TigerNet!

No one is willing to accept some random poster's opinion over one of the top 5 DC's in all of college football.

Seems to me Dabo and staff are doing just fine, legacies or not.

I am sure he think Dawkins, Trap, and the Davis brothers. I say we just wait and see how things shape up. In the end everything will work out. I have complete faith in our staff when it comes to the big picture. I wish people wouldn't rag on nay of our players without giving them a chance to see in which ways they contribute over the years. Anyway, I trust our staff and love our future. It's not worth complaining about anything at the moment.

complaining? I mean, you have scouted this kid right? Watched his game film? Seen him practice? Seen him camp? No? Oh, okay, so we're just basing this on a star-rating from a recruiting service right?

until i came across the "wasted scholarship" drivel. I didn't get very far - 2nd post! There's always at least 1 in the crowd....

There's times when that's a valid point; this is not one of them. Kid ran in the 4.5s at Auburn camp and had an offer coming shortly.

Remember we were in very early for Chad Smith when he had a similar offer sheet and look how that turned out for us.

Yeah, wait until Venables son commits and we will hear the same crap. Sometimes these legacy recruits are legit. Based on what I read he seems to be a take anytime.
