Aww did someone get their panties in a wad on my account? 'Preciate the fan club. As usual, Clemson fans are a legend in their own mind. Nobody outside the southeast even knows where Clemson is. Also, I'm a realist and Carolina has had some bad teams! The fact that Clemson has built its whole "legend" status on the backs of those teams is pretty laughable. Thanks again for the fan club.

Let's take the only SEC team both Carolina and Clemson have played on a consistent basis historically: Georgia
Clemson 18 - 42 - 4 (28.12 Win pctg)
Carolina 18 - 47 - 2 (26.86 Win pctg)

Actually I have lived in a few different countries, but that isn't really relevant. Anyone who isn't CFB-obsessed has no idea who or where Clemson is.

kind of like the Clemson-SCAR series, UGA wouldn't schedule us home and home. It wasn't until the 1960's that UGA would come play at Clemson regularly. Kind of hard to have a winning record against a team when you have to play at their place 75% of the time. Oh, wait.....
At least UGA took advantage of it, you sorry Chickens couldn't even do that.

all over the world, and I promise you, when it comes to football, people know who Clemson is. Winning big bowl games, national championships, putting people like CJ and Sammy in the pros does that.

that when a Clemson man goes out across the country and wears his colors, conversations about The Hill, the great players to come out of Clemson, the storied tradition are all the topics of conversation. Just the respect that Clemson has earned across the CFB landscape in the decades that have made up Clemson football.
When a gamecock boy leaves SC wearing chicken colors, there are only phallic type jokes made and responses like, "You really have a chicken as a mascot?" Since they have no tradition, football is rarely a topic that comes up with them outside of SC.
