instead of 8 pm on a school and work night...which means the game wont end until around 12-30 or 1 just like last time

they get with a 8:00 pm kickoff on a Monday vs, say, a 7:00 pm kickoff on a Saturday. I know they know their market better than me...but I also know they don’t ultimately care about the sport, student-athletes or fans. College football is a fruit to be squeezed for all the revenue they can get. Forget creating a climate where young kids can cultivate a live for the sport, or non-Clemson and non-Bama fans will stay for the entire game, or west coasters can get to where they want to be and settled before kickoff. Those things, that in my opinion cultivate a long-term connection to the sport, aren’t important. Most eye balls now is all that matters. Penny wise...

Sadly when money is involved there's very little, if any, desire to look at the long-term.
