just like your local PTA or Church council, in the sense it has members that elect a council, that might get a pass. But... what do the Clintons have to do with sports or universities? Have they owned one of either? TRUMP has owned both the USFL's(which went bankrupt, what a surprise with him involved) New Jersey Generals and Trump U(with scam courses), so he would be a more logical choice for your statement. You are playing your political agenda here trying to start something on this board with a statement that you knew would generate heat, so it should be elsewhere.

It was an analogy - the subject of which was UNC.
Now, the analogue was of a political nature, but that wasn't the substance of the commentary. The commentary was about UNC, likening it to the Clintons.
So, the most you could say is that you don't share his political presuppositions in regards to his chosen analogue, but, the point was about UNC. So, it wasn't really about politics.
That is all.

Actually the " Clinton part" was exactly "the substance of his commentary" as he pointed out in his SECOND post! No the statement was purely of a political nature, not a sports analogy at all. It was purely an attempt to start something to fit his anti-Clinton agenda by trying to insert it into a sports framework on a board dedicated to sports, where it didn't belong, but would get more traffic than on the Politics and Religion Board where it did belong.

to have lived through Reagan and I can tell you that he was a decent President, but certainly not worthy of the "Myth of Reagan" the GOP has created around him. That was created as a counter to the "Myth of Kennedy" the Democrats created around another (just decent) President I have lived through. Neither was near as good as they are portrayed later.
