I’ve been on the TRT now for some time...

Jan 20, 2019, 5:35 PM

I inquired on here if anyone had been told they had low t and if they were taking TRT. I didn’t know whether or not I should try it but my doc left it up to me and said I can always try it and if I get no positive effects from it, then I could stop. Now that I’ve tried it and been on it for some time, I can answer questions about it and my experiences with it.

So far, no negative side effects other than being hoarney out of my mind. Women and sex didn’t seem to have a grasp on me prior to therapy...I guess low testosterone will do that? After several months though, I feel like I’m back in puberty minus the acne. This may help explain all my dating threads I’ve created so far.

Your jewels get smaller...but very slightly. Hardly noticeable but they do seem to be more like pecans than walnuts now. I consider this a plus. As you get older, they don’t need to be swinging past your knees anyway.

I’m slightly more aggressive which feels way out of character to me. I’m one of the most passive, docile, laid back people you’ll meet. I don’t enjoy confrontation. But lately, I’ve been more vocal about matters that bother me...almost like the filter has been removed. I also do not feel as nervous around authoritative figures in my profession. This probably comes off as more confidence maybe, but it’s really just a subtle but constant air of agitation that is bubbling below the surface? Not saying I’ve got ‘roid rage’ or something like that. I’m still very much in control of my thoughts and actions.

My strength in the gym has skyrocketed. I’ve gone up about 30lbs on each dumbbell in the past 3 months. I’ve never hit the triple digits dumbbells but I’m assuming the TRT pushed me past the plateau? There is a noticeable increase in muscle size and areas where I normally store fat have decreased slightly (not as much moob action). This has been the best perk so far as I’m an avid gym rat.

I’m growing hair at an astonishing rate...everywhere except my head. I feel like I’m turning into a ware wolf. Don’t know if it’s the TRT or just me getting older but my back may need a weed eater soon.

That’s about it so far. If I’ve experienced other changes, then they must be too subtle for me to notice.

I’m not opposed to the idea...
