Seems like KB got a bad wrap anytime we didn't play well this season and got thrown under the bus, especially after the sugar bowl. It wasn't his fault against alabama. Just wanted clear that up. It was our offensive play calling. We played scared.

Their were playing to KB's "percieved" strengths, Bama had

that double covered, play action short passing game and his running ability. The O coaches should have been more flexible during the game. The one long pass into end zone was a td except Higgins got mugged, an obvious interference that should have been called.

it all starts with the lines,and in this game it seemed like our ol was awol for a good portion of the game,hence little running and little passing.

We were conservative because of where we were on the field

Alabama was aggressive both defensively and offensively because they had the advantage of field position.
But, that's part of football and it was our problem to over-come bad field position by making a few plays on offense at critical junctures.
And we couldn't do it.
Our coaches called plays that if executed would produce big results, but our "play-makers" failed to make plays.

KB played his worst 1st 3Q of the year. Clearly we should have tried something else at 24-6. It was awful.

No KB was the difference, either way. He was the X factor. He played poorly, we lost.
