Its finally Gameday. Lets hope the Tigers come out and show them who is the better team. I believe our defense will play worlds better today also. Go Tigers!!! and Wildcats(Today only)

but why would the D play better? We have known for two years the D was bad and the problem still hasnt been fixed or even improved. How can a week make that big of impact when our problems are all across the board? Our D is what it is at this point. They wont go from the # 93rd D to the #50 D in 4 days of practice.

but you never know in college football. that is one thing that attracts us to the game. there is always a surprise and sometimes it is a pleasant one

Beating up on the defense seems to be popular these days.

Here's how I look at it:

We have not been strong on defense for awhile. Responding to that, Dabo fired Steele and hired a top notch DC. Venables has had 15 spring practice sessions, 29 preseason practice sessions and 4 weeks into the season to start making the defense better.

Last year, at this point, we'd given up 100 points. This year, we've given up 102 points while playing both Auburn and FSU away from home. That's not good, but it might be progress.

Rather than ##### about not yet being world beaters, I'm going to enjoy the season and hope we get better as the year goes along.

I agree. Heard Willy on the pregame show talk about we could possibly try some stunts to try and get pressure like FSU did last week. Have we tryed that any this year and I think if beasly was on the field instead of Goodman that would be a good package to call bc of him being quicker. Whats yalls thoughts?
