This is not a hate on Kelly Bryant thread...I was one of those a little P-O'd that he didn't stay to support the team...
If KB had not have left, TL would not have had the burden of leadership placed entirely on him this early and matured and developed into a QB that looks and plays like a 3 year starter. The extra reps he is getting and the lack of drama from Kelly Bryant being gone is turning out to be a blessing in disguise.
Finally, if KB stays then this gem of a back-up in Chase Brice would not have had the chance to be developed so quickly into a QB that is a better passer than KB and the kind of guy that can go in and get the job done.
This team came to together in a special way because KB left and if we win the national title that Breakfast that Christian Wilkins had with TL after Kelly left will be the stuff Clemson legends are made of.
This team has the feeling of one of destiny....

I cannot get comfortable with how he left. In my book he is a Tiger no longer. BTW: If I were him I would check the schedule of team I choose and make sure the Tigers were not on it!!

Once TL won the starting job, KB knew he had no chance of winning it back.
No shame in that. A LOT of QB's around the country would be the back-up to TL.

Chase is a better option QB than Kelly.

The ability to pass and the lack of favoring the run makes him far superior. He even holds the ball longer which confounds a defense trying to figure out which was the ball is going. Chase and Trevor both fooled me but I don't remember KB ever fooling me on that play.

I completely agree. We had no offensive identity with the two QB system. And it seemed to hamper TL. Just this morning I was thinking about play calling. I was pretty vocal on hating our play calling early in the season, TAMU, etc. But this morning I was using a little hindsight. I realize now that most of what we run are RPOs. Now I think early on those RPOs just weren't being used efficiently and effectively. Now with TL getting better every week, those RPOs are running like a well-oiled machine. I'm convinced we would not be where we are if KB had stayed.
