Considering all the cards that are stacked against clemson (ie all the friends @ michigan, former coach @ michigan, all the visits to michigan, etc...)........if dabo somehow does land Gary it'll be, IMO, the best recruiting job he and our coaches have done since being at clemson......including the spiller commit.

As a self-proclaimed recruiting idiot, I expect the worst, as to not be too disappointed and if the best happens it's really a celebration. Just my way of dealing with things I have absolutely no influence over.

I agree. I don't know why Gary prefers Michigan...I mean Clemson has sent many defensive players to the NFL....also his uncle lives in Anderson. Gary is a very young boy and he prefers to be with his friends than his family members....so he prefers Michigan. I guess.

i think most kids in that situation (myself included if i were in that situation) would choose the friends that you're going to be playing/living with over and uncle & cousin that'll be near. Now, momma on the other hand probably prefers family, but unlike RN's mom she seems to be different and will let her son ultimately make the decision.

Just to be clear, the best recruit Dabo ever landed was Brent Venables, and that would even include Gary if Dabo gets him to come to CLEMSON. But I get your point.

There's at least one kid from Gary's HS at Michigan already and a couple more from next year's class that they would like to recruit.

I agree. Based on his character alone, I feel that Rashan is already a Clemson Man... He just has to pick up the right hat on NSD.
