in about 2-3 years

Dec 13, 2012, 6:16 PM

more than half of the ACC have the potential to be very very good in Football and basketball. 3 or 4 of these teams will be competing for MNC in football every year. When this occurs, ESPN will start marketing the ACC like they do the SEC today. 10 years ago the PAC-10 and B1G were their baby. The SEC sucked! Don't y'all remember AU going undefeated and still not going to the MNC? Do y'all not remember Auburn and Arkansas going out west and getting hammered? The ACC is fix'n to be loaded with storied universities with tradition. All they have to do is win. People all over the country are tired of the SEC. They have a monopoly on every freaking channel. I listen to Siriusxm 91 and all they talk about is the SEC. I think they screen the calls to where they only talk to SEC fans. If Clemson comes up in conversation, its usually negative. Changing conferences will not fix the perception, it only dilutes another conference. Clemson has an opportunity to show the country what we are about on 12/31. We need to win big and win convincingly. Beating LSU big will shut all these idiots up or get them talking Clemson football is for real! Go Tigers!

UNC has potential, Pitt is no slouch, NCSU will improve. Miami will be back. All of the teams are pretty dang good except Duke and Wake. Syracuse will improve now too.

State didn't even come close when they had Rivers.

Dec 13, 2012, 11:16 PM

None of these teams are really close.

I remember the Big East being the darling a short time ago

ESPN loved Louisville and Rutgers. Hell USF reached #2 in the polls with tons of 1 loss SEC teams in the picture.
