I have some USuCk and Auburn "friends" who coming up this weekend to Clemson to "be a part of the festivities". I laughed and said "Why travel and pay to come here and tailgate with two fan bases that hate you?" And literally the response I got from the coot was "Well, we're coming to cheer for our SEC brothers." WHAT? So I'm intrigued to hear yall's responses: Would you travel to a FSU/Va Tech/Ga Tech/Miami game to cheer for our "ACC brothers" if they're playing a SEC team? I didnt think so. Coot logic at its finest.

pretty silly response about SEC bretheren.
I would travel a few miles to see the biggest game of the weekend and probably of the first several weeks of the season.
Tell me other than USC UGA and Bama LSU the last time top 10 teams matched up in the regular season much less the opening weekend!
It is the biggest thing going on and if you are a college football fan within driving distance and have the money, why not take in history.
it will be the biggest crowd ever in DV, the loudest ever, and the teams match up for a great game!
The question is not why go, the questions is why would you not.
