Why did your player rush back to first? Clearly he was not going to tag up and steal 2nd. Clearly a base running mistake. And it pissed me off too.

What was the baserunning mistake? 99 times out of 100, the right fielder is going to catch that. Base runner is supposed to go about 1/3 or 1/2 way to 2nd base and as the fielder is catching the ball, run back to 1st. He started running back right as the coot dropped the ball. It was just really bad luck.

Same thing happened in our favor against the coots last year in the regional.
