Travel and arrival time for early games

What was the traffic situation like this past weekend? I'm coming down from Charlotte for the App St. Game and trying to figure out when I need to get in by. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Clemson. Leave Charlotte by 7 and you should be fine. Leave earlier if you want to tailgate before the game

I left Charlotte at 6:50 this past Saturday and was in my spot (Cent. Ext Blvd/Lot 6) by 9:15. Traffic was heavy as you approached Perimeter Rd and at a stand still trying to get on Perimeter Rd. I took my normal shortcut that by-passes quite a bit of Perimeter.

left Charlotte at 6am, arrived in Clemson at 8:15

and had to pick up someone, then headed to campus and was parked in Lot 13 around 8:40. At that time traffic was fine on 93.
