restaurants pretty close that you could board your pets at for a decent price...have you looked into that avenue?

I don't think the Isle Of Palms is people friendly. However, pets are if they are of the rare and expensive type.

as cheap or cheaper than a hotel.

Most are one BR, bath, built-in bunks, combo LR, DR and kitchen area with balcony. I think they're handled through Island Realty.
