Everyone is putting all the blame on Brownell

But the players were loafing, shooting ill-advised shots, not blocking out, and not even attempting to play defense. He should have put them all on the bench. No accountability for poor effort or play. Most coaches would have chewed their butts out in the second half.

Most coaches would've taken a TO to do that***

He built his program on the transfers. A good coach would have called timeout and stop the bleeding. Can we get any worse as a program?

Lots of teams play transfers, happens most in basketball.

Would you keep him as coach?

I see each side, there are certain things that say we should keep him and some that say we shouldn't.

That being said it doesn't matter what I think and I'm not going to consistently post the exact same thing in an online ##### fest.

That's being a coward.

How exactly is that being a coward? It's not, but whatever it is is better than being the little whiny childish ##### you're being.

Be a fence sitter. Is the basketball program better now than when Brownell started 7 years ago? Last night said no. It's up to the coach to guide the players. Brownell was clueless last night. A change is needed now . We need fans who want the best in basketball and willing to do what it takes to get there.

dooesnt that speak to coaching?

One stupid play by a player I can understand this logic. But not a patterned collapse

Maybe there should be a return message - You are going to ride the pine and run until your effort improves. Can't let the inmates run the asylum.

My son was right behind Oakland bench and with 4 min to go he text me that oakland coach tells his team "trust me run what I call and we will win. They won't adjust it exactly what we saw on film". Now that is second hand information but I believe my son. Brownell cannot adjust in game he has no place in the ACC!!!

I understand people's frustrations and completely understand wanting him fired. My thing is, when people say "Did Brad miss that shot," or "Did Brad turn the ball over?" If you take that stance, how can a coach EVER have any accountability? Players will always play the game, not the coaches.

I'd be willing to give the guy 1, ONE more year but I'd be reviewing resumes during the off season.

One year won't help. The recruits aren't stupid. They know about Brownells lame duck status and won't give us a scent. It would have to be a long extension. That is out of the question.

Brownell could'nt call a productive play to save his Mother's life.

Teams seem to take on the personality of their coach

When it's crunch time you see panic. I see a lack of confidence. That absolutely reflects on Brownell.

Does Joey Batson train these guys? He may be responsible?****
