as he was crossing the plate after scoring and he elbowed him in the chest. I think it was the leftfielder.

Boulware was blocking the plate and baseline when there was no play at home. Agree totally that Caldwell should not have thrown the elbow. At the same time Boulware had no business blocking the plate. Both players need to act classy, neither did.

the coot about took out Krieger's knees breaking up the DP. The announcer said "where was he supposed to slide?", but there's a difference in sliding and using your elbows and upperbody to trip him up

@18wheeler...I have been in both situations as a runner(throwing elbow) and catcher (close to plate). The next time the runner would have come to bat he would have got some chin music. nuff said
