I want to put a stop to the rumor that USUX cancelled this game because they were afraid of losing to Marshall, that is completely untrue !! it was weather and fan safety .

Well, I don't think there's a huge weather threat in Columbia tomorrow but fan safety is definitely a concern. Opposing fans being shot in the head and objects being propelled at players .... those are definitely concerns.

In case your understanding of history is lacking, Marshall would be the LAST team in college football to attempt a flight in the predicted bad weather conditions. You ever thought that they were the ones who decided against the trip??
