I dont have on particular pick but....

I think New Mexico St has a real shot to beat KU
Buffalo may very well beat WVU
I think Louisville just might make the Final 4
SFA seems to be the trendy upset pick
Belmont will give UVA all they can handle
Michigan St and/or NCSU could make a run to the Elite 8

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I do like the fightin Bobby Hurley's...

Mar 16, 2015, 11:27 AM

I also agree that Belmont is going to give UVA all they want

Normally I'd agree with you

Mar 16, 2015, 1:30 PM

But after Coastal Carolina leading UVA at the half by 5 last year I think UVA is going to play with a sense of urgency. Also I think they're pissed about not getting a 1 seed and they will just physically overpower Belmont. I'm thinking 20+ point win for them.

I do like Harvard over UNC and UC Irvine over Louisville though.

I think perhaps Davidson has a shot--they have very good guard play!

(14) Georgia State over (3) Baylor

They scored 38 points in their Champ game... I dont see them beating Baylor.

To be honest, given their recent results of...

Mar 16, 2015, 12:31 PM

crapping the bed in the 1st round, I'm hoping that the 16 over 1 finally happens with Duke taking the fall.

my choice for most likely upsets: Buffalo over WV, Wofford over Arkansas, SFA over Utah in the 12-5's. 13-4, think E. Washington over Georgetown could happen. BYU wins in opening round, I think they beat Xavier.

I like Hahvahd over the illiterates

Mar 16, 2015, 1:33 PM

Also maybe Valpo over Maryland, UCI over UL, Albany over Oklahoma is one to watch too.

Geez I just don't like the 4 seeds at all this year because I have learned to never pick Georgetown to win an NCAA tournament game.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

agreed on GTown

Utah is ridiculously efficient. They are a good bet to make elite 8.

UNC rolls. Marcus Paige was best player in ACC tourney (crazy stat line, better than Grants by long shot) and guard play gets it done in march.

I haven't done bracket or even looked at 1, but Terriers have to be favorite to pull off upset.

Also, I think Louisville is actually over seeded, so they will get tested for sure.

Will have to know matchups before can comment further on 15-2 or 14-3 games

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Arkansas is a terrible matchup for Wofford.

Mar 16, 2015, 4:18 PM

And they're playing well at the end of the season. Only lost 3 games since February started. 2 of those were to Kentucky.

Utah loses in the first round to SF Austin.

Georgia State has loads of talent and is definitely capable of beating an over-achieving Baylor squad.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

A 14 will beat a 3.***
