Tiger needs help

Apr 27, 2017, 4:59 PM

Can someone tell me how sling tv works?
I have internet with wifi. Do I have to have
a smart tv for it to work? How do I get it to
my televisions in the house. Before I get called
names I am a 71 year old man, that doesn't know
a lot about this stuff. Thank you in advance.

You will either need a smart tv or a device to stream to your tv.

Roku, Apple TV, Chrome TV, etc. and you will also have to have decent internet speed with a good wifi modem.

Here is a link that may be helpful.

Sorry. It just didn't feel right not calling you a name.

Trust me PlaystationVue not Sling

You do not need a Playstation for it to work. Any of the above devices will work. https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/vue/
I personally recommend the Roku 2 device. I really like mine. Also, keep an eye out for Hulu's version of streaming TV coming out soon on Roku. It sounds like it will be even better than the PlaystationVue. Just remember, there is no contract so sign up for one, if you want to switch you cancel one and start the other.
Good luck!

I am 62, fairly tech savvy and glad to help. The easiest way for you to get Sling is to get it from your computer. Just go to www.sling.com, create an account, pick a plan ($20 per month) and start watching on your PC. I have Sling and get all three ESPN channels and the ACC channel. If you want to watch it on your TV you have to get yourself a ROKU (Walmart), connect to your TV and to your internet and get to SLING that way.
