Sadly, though, lots of people die of lots of different things every single day. About 8000 people die every day in the US from all sorts of causes. But we don't lose our minds in panic over that fact and try to prevent each and every one of those deaths (some are simply old people dying of being old, basically, and cannot be prevented). We don't ban automobile travel even though 40,000 people died in car wrecks in the US each year for the last few years.

There's a difference between prudence and panic. For example, prudence dictates that you ought to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle. Panic bans riding motorcycles. Prudence says wash your hands, eat nutritious food, avoid sick people. Panic declares martial law and shuts down the world for a disease in which about 80% of the people who get it don't even experience any noticeable symptoms.
