You do realize that Clemson has only won the ACC once in 20 years! Far fewer than FSU and VT. Fewer than GT, and tied with Wake, Maryland and VA!!

That's funny. On Saturday night, the consensus from Tiger fans on this very board was your coaches needed to go and many were glad Boyd was leaving. The main reason was that, and I quote, "your coaches are propped up by the very conference you are in with built in 9 wins a year over pathetic competition."
I guess with that logic, if SC was in the Southern Conference we would have several championships. And I'll guarantee you we'd have more than one in 20 years in the ACC. I'm just sayin.
But hey, we can do the "history, the '81 season, etc" for the next 10 years if you would like. Personally, I like winning now.

winning the ACC is meaningless. Nobody goes, nobody watches, nobody cares who wins the ACC football championship.
with that said - your championships from the 80s before FSU joined are even more meaningless, and FSU proved that by immediately winning the first 9 championships they competed for.
