Why? The last two months, rohlman has been a much better hitter than Beer. I'm glad they did though, hopefully that's what kick starts Beer into an epic tear leading us to the college world series.

So what does that have to do with this year? He hasn't been anywhere close to the same hitter he was last year. Plus it makes it much easier for the defense to play with the infield in when there's a force at every base. Monte even said it was the right decision for them to walk rohlman.

That pitcher had been pitching lights out IMO. He just missed his spot and left it out over the plate where Beer could get it. It was the perfect call, but the execution failed them.

who likes to give a certain left-hander lolly-pop curves 4 to 6 inches outside and call them strikes. That guy was so bad I turned off the last Louisville game.
