High winds is a worse prospect for BC

Nov 8, 2018, 7:19 PM

TL has the velocity to still be somewhat effective in high winds. Yes, it will reduce the throws he will be able to make but I feel like it will force BC to rely completely on their ground game. If they are forced to be one dimensional I don't see how they score 10 without some turnover help from us.

TL can cover 30 yards easy with his throws before a 20 mph

wind would start to affect it. Rare zip and spin.

BC's stadium is positioned almost straight up

north and south from end zone to end zone, while the predicted 16 mph winds are out of the west. So, the wind will be a cross wind. That said, the stadium lower deck is a bowl with no open areas for the cross wind. That and an albeit rather small upper deck helps dissipate the wind a bit.

Looks like a perfect opportunity for a trick play.

...go Sun Devils!? 'Lived in the East valley, Arizona, for a while, and that's some crazy stuff. But TL has played in the wind before, and like a sniper, he knows how to adjust and compensate for his shot.

Go Tigers!!!
