Furloughed gubmint workers - Im gonna assume

Jan 21, 2019, 5:56 PM

The majority vote Dem. So when are they gonna call up Pelosi and Schumer and tell them to get off their a-rses and genuinely negotiate so they can get back to work?

Re: Military votes Dem?

Jan 22, 2019, 10:04 AM

Depends on the branch.

Army, Navy, Marines are very right leaning.

Specials Forces are all hardcore right wing/libertarian.

Any bureaucratic agencies that supports conventional military and SOF/special forces are right leaning.

Air Force is left leaning.
Anything involved with intelligence/SIGINT/electronics such as FBI, NSA, CIA, etc. etc. is typically left leaning as Democrats give significant leeway and funding to those organizations to work and operate within the US, including operations on US citizens. Likewise, the type of people those organizations attract typically idolize the idea of "the machine" and get their rocks off on the idea of being a cog in the vast network of secret government operations for "the sake of national security". Every major program by the intelligence community that has victimized American citizens (such as MK ULTRA) has always occurred under Democrat administrations as the Left's platform idolizes vast expansion of government power. The only exception is Five Eyes, which was enacted under Bush, however that also occurred under a Blue congress with significant bureaucratic holdovers from the Clinton administration, as well as W's tendency to have a Right leaning administration with a Left leaning bureaucracy.

It seems the Senate got enough to override a veto when initially voting but no way they would get any GOP Senators if Trump actually vetoed.

was an issue continuously brought up by the GOP and continuously denied by Pres Obama.

Did he think all doctors accepted all forms of insurance?

Also, he said if you liked your healthcare plan you could keep it. That wasn't true by a long shot, since the government made certain types of plans illegal and forced minimum coverage on everyone. That was a cornerstone of the dem plan.

So, yes, he was lying and he knew it.
