He'll never see any playing time at Clemson. Can't blame him one bit. Good luck to this young man. When he graduates from Yale he will make a lot more money than any football player during his life. OK most football players.

If he is smart enough to get admitted to Yale. That is where he should be going to school. I wish the absolute best of luck to him. But with Yale type brains, he want need any luck. He wouldn't have ever made it to the NFL through Clemson. So he should get the highest education he can get for building his future without FB in the plans.

Can you really blame him?

If Boyd returns, we have Boyd, Stoudt, Kelly, and we will have Watson after. We're fairly solid at QB, especially with The Chad working them out.

Good luck, sir. Hope you make it big and we see you on TV sooner or later.

We also have that walk-on from Grayson high school. The one that decided to transfer to Clemson when RN decided to commit to us. Probably never get a scholy now.

He'll need to take a Shuey approach

We won't have Watson if the AJC or ESECPN has anything to do with it.

Does this free up a scholly?

It's funny that we have better QB'S than the coots transferring out b/c of no playing time. And spurprick is suppose to be the QB guru. And we have better QB'S leaving than he has at his #1 and #2 QB spots.

His QB's have looked pretty dang good the last 4 years. Really crazy to think this kid is better than shaw or thompson. Shaw has a crazy good record as a starter.

Really?? They have beaten our butts the last for years and you come up with this?

I love my Tigers but that's a ridiculous statement. Thompson beat us this year with much less at WR than most big schools and Shaw isn't to bad either. I love our depth but doubt Roberts is better than either of them.

We Too Deep ....

Best of luck, probably would be very difficult to make starting QB at Clemson given our talent pool. Hope he gets in Yale and hope he starts !

Stoudt will be transferring next because he isn't going to get the start over Kelly unless Kelly is trash and then you got Watson coming in 2014 (hopefully). What do we do with Mcneal? Turn him into a designated signal caller or DB?

Not so fast about Stoudt

He has been a good backup so far and has proven more than Kelly has on the field. You never know how things can shake up.

If Yale is a possibility, any Ivy League piece of paper carries weight.

Just remember, once a Tiger, always a Tiger!

I hope you get in there Morgan. Godspeed to you!***

ever transferred to Yale. *snicker*

When questioned about the transfer, coot players all agreed

Cruel headline, TNet!

Posted: Jan 4, 2013 1:46 PM

Serously, y'all? That headline almost made me throw up jus for a second or two. I mean, even though intellectually I was sure you weren't talking about Tajh. it still made me freak out for a second. Look, everybody is already on edge about upcoming 'decisions' so did you really have to create such a 'sensational' headline?
