Remember, they have more to work with because they know a bunch of their recruits will either go to jail or flunk out.

If everyone signed a NLI they could only sign 1 more. They have 31 - 4 = 27 and greyshirts count toward the 28. My guess is they will not let players who may not qualify sign a NLI. This will keep them below the 28 but it puts the kids in a bad situation because if something happens they could drop them at any time because they have no binding agreement.
