Yards per carry on first down is an antiquated stat line, PPG

Is really the only statistic that we should be thinking about. I don’t care how we get the points, just get them.

We are averaging, without running up the score, over 45 points per game. Who cares how we get there, as long as we get there?

Bigger concern should be our defensive starters that are out. We need to come up with 2-3 big stops to win this game.

So playing behind the chains--consistently---on 3rd down isn't a big deal? Tony Elliott would disagree with you.

We haven't played anyone yet.

When we play an elite defense, that stat will definitely be more meaningful.

Having 2nd and 7+ Makes Clemson Play More to It's Strengths and Hence Runs More Longer Yardage Plays. We Should Go Empty Backfield w/ETN wideout every play and sometimes motion him back or sweep him. Put every defense we play in a dime package all game.

Trevor then runs it every 7th play or so for big yards. Boom scoring 120 per game.
