McCloud visiting Gators today

Saw on Twitter that Ray Ray McCloud is visiting Florida today. Is this something we should be concerned about? Also, I know he's already signed his financial aid agreement with us so does anyone know the rules about other schools recruiting a signed guy like him?

you just never know with these guys. Lots of time and lots of football to be played between now and January for the early enrollees.
Recruiting can be frustrating. Sometimes you're one the good end (Dwayne Allen) and sometimes you're on the bad end (Demarcus Robinson/ Macintosh).

Sure as heck hoping he doesn't flip. He'll be a good one in Clemson's system. We all know Florida has a remarkable ability to turn top-rated guys into complete chumps, especially on offense.

Can you give a brief story on Allen's recruiting? I didn't really know much about Clemson football before I became a student back in '11.

Correct, all this means is that we can have more contact and CU has obligated an offer. This does not bind the kid in any way. All that said, I still think that he's ours.
