he would start and get more attention. I would hate to see him go but it would be great for him especially if he wants to give it a go in the NFL.

Yeah. Play the CFP and transfer is great for all the parties when considering DJ is coming this spring. DJ will be an early enrollee as I can recall.

Relates to my question for next year: what do you all think Dabo's plan was for DJ next year? If Chase were to take a transfer next year, it may make sense, as there is no guarantee he'd ever start at Clemson with a TL senior yr (unlikely) or losing out to DJ in 2021

If Chase were to leave then obviously that wouldn't be the case.

I'm hoping my hypothetical scenario doesn't happen. I love Brice. Kid has been a true team player and bailed us out last year.

I hear you, tiger nation definitely loves Chase. I just feel like Dabo has another KB/TL scenario potentially coming in 2 years. The stress of having an endless string of 4-5* QB's coming to town :)
