Hoping they at least got to practice the others a bit more since we'll need them to step up.

If the staff knew prior to heading to Miami, the players would have been left behind.

From what I've heard they took the drug test when they got back from Christmas break takes a couple days for results so probably just found out yesterday or day before

Or, they held it until just after so the rest of the team

didn't have to deal with it at media day. Knowing that they had to put every player out there for interviews at media day, it wouldve been smart to hold that info until after.

Allowed the rest of the team a 'normal' media day and a chance to be asked questions about themselves or about the game and not have every single player subjected to questions about the 3 stooges...
