How many have considered that BV will bring some new formations and personnel schemes that ND has been unable to consider or coach for? I can see BV turning this negative into a positive for one game. And I agree with Mr. Firebarker that XT could be a difference maker.

In 2015 Notre Dame game, the crossing routes and soft underneath coverage almost killed us.

Stupid delayed drag route and underneath routes by the slot and the TE ate us alive. They found matchups on Boulware and Travis Blanks, out 2 slowest on D and exploited the entire 2nd half.

I think XT will get a lot of snaps too. 3 DE's with Ferrell, Bryant and Thomas, with Wilkins in the middle. Saw it a few times during the season

Exactly and don't be surprised to see more of Ferrell, Bryant and Thomas dropping back into coverage to take away the quick short slants.
