With our entire starting D line gone next year,

along with Huggins and a few others, are we in the mix for some big time DT for next year? If I’m looking correctly, we’ll have Pinckney, Williams (DT?) and Jefferies back? Is that it?

Don't assume all will be leaving! There is a chance 2 return, I don't think so, but then again who thought we would have them this season!

SOME DE HAVE MOVED TO THE INSIDE

Some DE have moved to the inside at DT. Many of them arriving at Clemson in the 260lbs - 270lbs range and are now in the 300lbs - 320lbs range. In other words, many are as tall as Big Dex, but as heavy as Wilkins. Which also means that they will still have that initial burst in their first step. If they can master technique then they will actually be rather dangerous on the inside. Especially since we have two super heroes setting the edge next season. This doesn't even include the massive depth we will be working with at LB, Corner, and Safety. We will be fine next season. We won the National Championship after losing almost all of our starters on defense for two seasons in a row. We will be fine because Coach V will have them ready to rock and roll.

In short, if we win it all this year then there is no reason why we shouldn't win two more after this year. Our offense is dang near unstoppable.

We will be fine in returning players, but our experience and overall depth will be tested. Recruiting at DL is going quite well and CBV and staff will further develop players so none of us need be overly concerned.
