With a win over The Citadel

Dabo would have 50 wins, could this be the fastest a Clemson coach has reached 50 wins? Also it would mean back-to-back-back 10 win seasons, has that ever been done at Clemson before?

Probably wants Dabo fired for winning the ACC and back to back 10 win seasons but not beating USuC.

It sucks that this is the truth, but it is.

The problem with '10 is the 4 losses and bad Orange Bowl. Takes away a bit from the ACC Championship. Problem with last year was losing to two of the 3 best teams played and having 11 wins but no ACC title.
We are looking at that again, but beating the chickens would take some of the FSU sting out.

11 is the new 10.
10 wins (10-3) is still very good... 11 (11-2 OR 11-3) is great...

A loss 2 weeks from now, it's a 10 win season, nothing to sneeze at. As heard on the radio this morning,I remember a 3-8 Tommy West team that best USuC, so all you whiners and doubters ought to remember that.In fact didn't TW have a winning record against USuC ? See where that got him as with TB , one game didn't save him.
Would an 11 win season with a win 2 weeks from now be a MUCH better season ? You're d@mn straight it WILL be. But don't be like a Coot an think the season hinges on one game. A 10 win season is always a success.

peckers and it shuts some mouths when we win, or at least lets us do some ribbing. I refuse, however, to give it that game that much credit. A win or loss to them does not make or break a season.

more game this season than we did in 1981, so that's really not much difference.
And all those years with Tommy Bowden, we played 12 game schedules most of that time but never sniffed a ten win season.

Clemson had 4 straight 10-win seasons between 1987 and 1990. Three with Danny Ford and one with Hatfield.
It took Ford 6 seasons to reach 50 wins. Dabo can do it in 5 and half seasons. To be fair, there are more games to win now with a 12-game season and a conference championship game.

If he doesn't beat scar, he will be the fastest to 5 straight losses against them. The 50 sounds good but losing to scar is not acceptable.
