Wish that Thomas had more offensive moves

the flying jump-throw is awful and he is so strong, but rarely gets a vertical dunk in the paint. A part of the program I hoped to see improve with Coach Wienicki gone, but not so far.

flat-footed under the basket, jumping straight up and dunking easily. He does a few things well and was good in the clutch last night, but does have his limitations. Center is still our main position that needs upgrading.

Petite and uncoachmac has ZERO idea about basketball and are only here to stir the pot. Neither have an idea. Don't feed the trolls.
I just wish Thomas could have made two free throws at the end of the game to ice it. Or maybe learn how to block a shot or two.

You can pretty much forget about getting an elite one - there aren't many and the blue blood schools get nearly 100% of them.

Thomas did not show it last night or much in recent games, but he does have some good moves. He is very good at using both hands. In fact, he usually shoots field goals with his left hand. But I think he shoots free throws right handed. He has a decent hook shot with either hand, and has a good up and under move. But in the last few games, he has just tried to power it straight to the basket. Granted, you could argue that move worked because he shot 11 free throws. But he only made 5 of them.
He was very effective defensively last night with the 6 blocks. The refs actually didn't call the game very close, and let them play. If the refs had called the game close, I doubt we would have won.
