Wisconsin's season is on the brink.

B1G has some very strict rules on COVID. Would not shock me if their conference schedule collapses.

they don;t have any quarterbacks left... the strict (tyrannical might be a better word) Big10 rules mean the guy who tested positive and everyone else around him are out... 21 days min...

I haven't seen contact tracing rules for the B1G. They are aggressively testing everyone which makes the contact tracing fairly unnecessary.

lead to Wisconsin canceling the Purdue game as well.

Also, any player that tests positive has to sit out 21 days. Graham Mertz was one of the players that tested positive and is awaiting the result of a 2nd, more accurate test. If that one is also positive he will miss the next three games.

That's fairly significant. The Big Ten rules are extremely stringent, but 12 players is well over the 5% threshold for postponing football-related activities.

I think the ACC cancelled the ND-Wake game due to 13 players and I don't believe all of those were actually positives. What i read on that was 7 positives and 13 total in isolation.

At least half of the “positives” were likely false positives.
