So, we have now won 20 straight games...until now, our best was 15 (1947-8). Our longest losing streak? 11 during 1924-25 seasons.
Coots? Their longest winning streak? 10, ended by LSU in 2012. Their longest losing streak? 21 during 1998-99, played New Mexico St to end their losing streak!
As long as I was looking...Clemson's record from 2011 to now: 102-15, which is an 87.2% win ratio! Coots? 67- 41, 62%! In baseball terms, we are 29 games ahead of the coots the last 9 years (Coots would have to beat us 29 straight games to have a half game lead on us!!!)!
Looked at all the years' records, so very possible that I got something wrong! Please correct me if needed!
Our 2nd longest winning streak was 17 games, starting with the last 3 games in 2014 through the 14-0 start in 2015.
Doesn't change your argument, just points out that Clemson is trending even more dominantly in the short term. 63-4 since the start of that 17-game streak in 2014, or just over 94% winning percentage.
Sorry I was not more precise...Yes, you are correct. The "now" that I was referring to was since the most recent ones. I wanted to show how many years it has been since we have produced like this. Worded it incorrectly...thanks for the correction.
