To everyone that keeps saying win and we are in, you are wrong. It is true that we need to win out....but also need Syracuse to lose another game. If they don't, they will be playing in the ACC championship for the Atlantic division.

True but with their remaining schedule it's hard to believe that they won't lose at least one.

I was thinking the same until others pointed out if we win out we win in a 3 way tie no matter what happens... So win and we are in the ACC Championship, win that and it's highly unlikely we get left out of the playoff

While technically you are correct, do you really feel Syracuse is not going to lose one of these?
at Miami
at FSU
Wake
at Louisville (may be a million points scored in that one)
BC
Heck they may not win another game. I think they win 2 to 3 of these if they play like they did the other night. Which we know it is hard to bring that A game week in and week out.
If they do run that gauntlet, they deserve to be in the ACCCG. We may even still get ala Ohio State style. Lots of football to be played. Lots of huge Big 10 matchups coming as well.

No, not technically correct at all. He's flat out wrong.
If we win out we will be the Atlantic champion, at worst case, by virtue of a three way tie, where we will own the tiebreaker.

Syracuse lost to NC State. NCState only lost to USuC. We must beat them, Ga Tech (and really all the rest of our games).
With that said, we are not necessarily a shoe in for the Playoffs if we win out. The "committee" can only choose 4 teams, and they may decide to choose someone else, even 2 from another conference like the SEC. Likely not, but it could be. This loss hurt us.
