Fall short. No vertical passing game will doom this team down the stretch. We will return to the playoffs in 2019. We will be top 10 next year but will have 2 loses. We better figure out how to get these recievers involved or recruiting will suffer. That's just the facts.

Alabama has NO vertical passing game .
Haven't had one since Julio Jones left Tuscaloosa . They seem to do alright from a " not doomed " standpoint .

You have to be living under a rock to not realize this team's offensive struggles. I'm not a coot. I have grown up here in clemson and have been a tiger my entire life. This year's team has a great defense. That's the strength. That's it. Offense and special teams are very suspect. The difference with alabama was,that they had a dominant run game. We could but as a staff they are not fully committed to that without the qb run game. It's just the facts. No team wins it every year and this ain't our year. Sorry to rain realism on your parade.

If KB gets, and stays, healthy, we will definitely be in the playoffs this year. I'm not confident we can win it all. Our offense isn't nearly as potent as last year's. But our defense may be better when they play up to their potential. And who knows; the offense may find their rhythm in the second half of the season and take it all the way. Offense wins games but defense wins championships. I believe Saturday night will restore everyone's confidence. But if we don't make a statement against Tech we may be in trouble. Go Tigers!
