Will coots make a big deal over 50th anniversary of their ACC Championship?

On the one hand, don’t you have to make a bid deal about your one and only conference championship?
On the other hand, doesn’t it dig you further into National laughing stock status? Especially when you celebrate your only championship in a conference you claim is inferior?
I mean even Kentucky has a share of a modern era SEC title and Duke has multiple ACC titles.

Inside information. He said that USux recently signed a contract with Cracker Jacks and, starting in September, they will put a championship ring in each box. Pretty legit guy in that he majored in Sanitation with a minor in Emptying Port-A-Lets.

They have to celebrate, its all they have. Did you know they tied for the conference championship in 1965 but had it revoked due to cheating ?

Did not know that. I see that because they had to forfeit the title ended up being shared by us and NC State.
Also they will claim the weren’t in the ACC that long but we had 6 ACC Championships before they got their first.

The road to USuC's ACC championship that year (only winning team in the division) was as easy as UGA's road to the SEC Championship (1 of only 2 winning records in the division USuC being the 2nd) I think celebrating it for the people that were on the team is good, but celebrating it for the program could be a little akward as it's still your only one.

If I was in charge of that situation, (thankfully I’m not), I would opt for the second hand. I would not want to draw anymore attention to the fact that this is all we have in the trophy case. Would rather it go unnoticed.

They once issued 5th place rings ( scouts honor ) to their players . They had an 80 ft banner of their coach draped over the side of their stadium because he was successful at two OTHER colleges .
Yeah , they're gonna party like its 1999 and New Mexico State just left town
