Clemson and Fla.St. will never be able to leave if they sign a 50 million dollar buy out. This is crazy with some serious thought!

Doubt it. Both schools wanted a smaller fee then what it was***

This just maybe the straw that breaks the camels back. I don't see how our B O Ts can except this type of buy out with the ACC being one of the weakest conferences in FB, and with us being a FB school. The buy out being more than double than what we get paid in the TV contract. This is the ACC's attempt to kidnap its members for life. If Clemson excepts this strong arming, say good bye to the FB power that Clemson is now getting back to building. And say HELLO to the acc BB conference, with Duke and UNcheat being our big brother and Daddy for ever. Swoff saw how close he came to loosing his job if Clemson and FSU had bolted to the B12. Now he is making sure that no school in the acc never threatens his job ever again. I'm a 110% sure that is what a 50 mil buy out is all about.

If I were the B O Ts of ND, I would love the deal they got out of the acc. They got their cake to eat by them selves, and are eating off the acc plate also.

They did get the "Win Win" with the gold mine. We on the other hand got the shaft. You have to be a huge Basketball fan, or a fan of some non revenue sport to think this was a good move for anybody but ND.

$50M exit fees are immediate....

Sep 12, 2012, 1:15 PM

Barker was intstrumental in this deal and this was voted on by the full group of ACC presidents including FSU. ND will also be required to pay the $50M exit fee immediately.
