Idk what the big deal about this kid is. He is at best a sign and place prob a juco. Clemson never recruited him because of this. Dont know why this kid got so much attention at the end.

Just wondering but how do you know about his grades. I always wonder about this when I hear people say that. It seems everybody qualifies for the sec!

Something must have been up with his grades or FSU screwed him royally.

He was high on clemson our coaches decided not too waste time. He is a guy that brings up your class rank but does nothing to help the team. The real ranking of classes is done by who made ut on campus.

Rivals says he had offers from Bama, Fla., FSU, SC, Mich, LSU, Ole Miss and Clemson.

List was big UNTIL schools found out he was Jr College bound

UsuC was most likely the only VALID offer he had left.2 years @ some Jr college and he might get in and be a good one. Doesn't help NEXT year at all.

I'm just curious like the poster above....how do you know these things, do you speak with the coaches at all these schools who had offered him? We can appreciate bias but to disparage a kid just because he signed with SCAR is not welcome.

it's pretty well known he's unlikely to qualify... not sure where this info comes from but even us coots think its unlikely. hopefully this gives us a heads up next time around though. If he does qualify he'll be a good one though

No clemson does not have juco guys can't get them in prob why we didn't go after wideman. Clemson does sign in place in prep school but never signs and places in juco.

agree about the sour grapes, but the last juco to my knowledge that we let in was corey groover like 12 years ago..........there may have been one more, but i believe our administration puts off limits on juco players

That is , if they believe that he'll qualify after 1 semester at prep school, otherwise, like in this case they back off.No SOUR GRAPES at all, just Coots can't deal with facts.
