maybe they went against a very good OL on the other side, like in South Bend. Sometimes you just have to give the other team the nod. They should be crazy good the next two years

Youth and motivated OL on the other side of the ball.

Some people will say...

It’s because they held, but really it’s just because they’re o-line was better. Our DL is young but we’re in game 12 so that is no longer a valid excuse in my opinion.

They did hold, but so does everyone.

Because we don't have any Monsters up there right now

Because 50% of the first half they weren't even ready

In their stance thinking about their assignments that next play.

Outside of Breese and Murphy, tell me when they have been great the last two years? Not knocking them, but has been a huge drop since then.

Experience on their OL and the refs let both OLs hold a good bit. Plus sending 3vs5 or 6 doesn't pan out well in real football often.

We were going up against one of the top 5 OLines, we just wanted to ignore it.

Props to Ohio St OL

But I'll stick with true freshmen Bresee and Murphy and a healthy TD#13 any season. The rest of the Defense needs calibration.

I don't know, but I hope to never see a three man line again in my lifetime!
