He looks just like Laveon(sp) Bell from the Steelers. Patient and quick on the cut. Is the back end of our defense in need too much for that? Thoughts.

How many snaps do you think he'd get behind ETN and feaster, not to mention choice and fuller.. then add in Dixon. yes, there is a much more pressing need as a DB. We do have a pretty successful staff making these kinds of decisions.

But I thought the same thing you did when I was watching his film. He looked good on defense. But MAN, he was really impressive running with the football.
Maybe we too deep at running back.
Either way, he looks like great athlete. Glad we are getting him.

It is hs.. the best athlete on the field will standout at all positions.
From 8u-13u basbeall the best players pitch and play infield.
When you get to hs, that crap starts to end. When you get to college the pitchers only pitch. . Kid who played short stop all his life ends up in right field.

you are coming from, but look at it like this: When he gets to Clemson, he will be evaluated, live and in person, for days and weeks and months on end, by some of the best coaches and talent evaluators in the world. Take comfort in knowing that if he is a better RB than DB, AND he's better than the RBs we already have, AND we need him at RB more than we need him at DB, then he WILL play at RB. If he winds up at DB, then rest assured that's where he belongs.

I see him more as a DeAndre McDaniel type playmaker in the secondary.

We have very good RBs already , one can NEVER have too many reliable DBs.
